The Customer Property Team has an opening for a self-motivated Principal Specialist, who is a team player able to support company compliance to customer & government property requirements. This person will be providing support to multiple programs, as well as support to the site and property organization’s procedures and processes. This person will work closely with the central property organization, Government customer, Prime customers, Government auditing agencies and internal stakeholders.

This position will be onsite, and reports to the Site Customer Property Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assure compliance to contract requirements, regulations, and RTX/Collins/Site policies and procedures for managing customer property.
• Interface with site leadership and functional personnel to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
• Generate and provide accurate and timely property status reports and metrics for management and internal and external customers.
• Perform property closeout activities.
• Partner with Contract Management organization to ensure property management related requirements are executed as needed.
• Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements, and support EH&S efforts to improve practices
• Comply with applicable Global Trade Compliance (GTC) policies and procedures.

Ideal Candidate:
• Has knowledge in customer property management, FAR, DFARS, and ability to read and apply regulatory requirements.
• Works autonomously with limited oversight from manager
• Communicates with parties within and outside of own department. May have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.)

Knowledge & Experience:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Effective writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and drive change
• Ability to review data with highly analytical approach to identify process disconnects or potential system errors
• Due to Program & Projects requirement, candidate must be a US Citizen.
